Education-focused guided wine tour
Our customers get a behind the scenes, not available to the general public, production tour that walks you through the production process from grape to bottle. We also walk you into the vineyard to talk about some basics of grape growing. Plus, there is plenty of time for questions!
No hidden costs
Our tour is $120.00 per person. The only cost not included is the gratuity for the guide, which is explained upon making the reservation. We also don’t charge extra for pickups outside of the area. With some tours, you might not find out until later that some fees aren’t included in the advertised price! Make sure you always ask when making a reservation with any company.
Actual vineyards…
not just tasting rooms
Yes, we do have a couple of tasting rooms on our winery list, but these are for wineries that are out of our immediate area and don’t have a tasting room at their winery. Our Daily Deluxe Tours and our Grapes n Hops Tours head out into the Santa Ynez Valley. We have carefully selected all of our wineries based on the types of wines they produce and their location in the valley. We feel that anyone can drop you at a tasting room but we want you to enjoy the vineyard experience!
Tour includes a freshly made to order picnic lunch
A freshly made to order sandwich (turkey, roast beef, or vegetarian), a side of greek salad, bag of kettle chips, freshly baked cookie and bottled water. The lunches are made for us at a local gourmet market — not on site by the tour guide or at someone’s house. We can also accommodate most dietary requests.
Convenient Pick-ups
Many tour companies will charge extra depending on pick-up location — we pick up at local Santa Barbara hotels and also from Ventura, Carpinteria, Summerland, Montecito, Goleta, Santa Ynez, Buellton and Solvang at no extra charge to you. If you are staying at a VRBO or AirBnB, just give us the address and we will pick you up there, in most cases.
